Acupuncture Q: I went for a consultation in acupuncture yesterday. I have been having issues with my cycle, difficulty losing weight, and wanted to see what acupuncture could offer in terms of stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system and improving circulation - two big underlying issues for me. We had time to do a short treatment at the end of my intake with just a few needles and one of them hit a branch of my medial nerve in my dominant hand (typing this slowly with my left hand…) I’m dealing with pain, bruising and swelling that is steadily improving. My question is, would it be a reasonable choice to return for subsequent treatments? I was hoping this could be a new avenue to push my functioning up a bit higher. I’ve hit a plateau right now.
