I'm confused with knowing the difference between engaging stabilising muscles and bracing. I was experimenting with walking this morning and found I had a lot less low back pain when I engaged my lower abs. But then it kinda felt like I was bracing my core so I'm a bit baffled. For context I have very poor proprioception and am only recently learning about 'normal' range of movement.
