I had an echocardiogram today and the tech was so nice. He asked me at the very start of the process if I had eds! He went on to ask some very good questions about my POTS and the process of getting diagnosed! He told me that in his medical training text book there was ONE paragraph about EDS and it said that it “goes away with age”! I laughed at that and asked him what age it said it would go away because I’m 50 and I’m still waiting! Just shows how lacking in any correct information the medical field is and that we have to keep educating and bringing awareness!🦓💪🏻
