In the last year or so I’ve started to notice my legs are really shaky, especially going down stairs. I keep up with PT exercises I got for my hips/glutes, I ride an exercise bike regularly, I try to stay active, but it seems like they’re getting worse rather than better. Knees feel less stable, ankles suddenly also feeling less stable, hips clicking and popping nonstop. I feel absolutely beat up after any length of walk. Haven’t gotten a professional opinion on it yet, but I did read the leg weakness could be related to my newly discovered spondylolisthesis (L5 on S1), which I have in addition to scoliosis in two parts of my back. I guess I’m terrified of losing my mobility any time soon and wondering if anyone has any advice / other ideas for the cause or new things to try / comforting words with this. Feels like almost weekly I discover some new piece of me falling apart (this week it was a valvular deformity in my heart that could eventually lead to sudden death), and it’s really getting me down.
