Thanks to everyone who gave advice on surviving long hospital appointments recently. I had my appointment this morning which actually turned out to be much shorter than last time, and that combined with all the pacing etc has meant I'm still in one piece this afternoon. I'm tired but not a zombie! Also when I explained that I was walking slowly due to hypermobility it turned out that the nurse's daughter had recently been diagnosed! So I was able to point her to the YouTube videos and other info cos she'd had v little support from the medics.
