Hi all, i’m just starting out doing some exercises on the mat - it’s taken me a few months to summon up the courage and try getting on the floor. The first thing I tried was bringing my knees to my chest and hugging my shins, it felt good but the front of my hips were incredibly tight and a bit sore. Is this just an indication that I need to keep doing this and gradually they will ease up? I also find when I am laying with my legs out straight, my hips turn forwards and I have a big gap between my lower back and the mat. Thanks for any advice 😊
