Hi #newmember here! Just wanted to pop in and say thanks to you Jeannie Di Bon for this app! I began a personal healing journey about 18 months ago and as part of that I am now looking to reframe my thinking around exercise. Coming from a fitness instructor background 20+ years ago I have struggled to adapt my exercise routine and my mental framing around it (but have succeeded to a certain extent, although there is massive room for improvement). I am at a stage now where I really want to be kinder to my body. I haven’t worked my office job for almost 4 years due to hypermobility syndrome but I still continue to have pain and injuries. I love to swim, use my exercise bike and do light weights, walk and Pilates, all at a gentle pace but I have been having a lot of problems with my upper back/shoulder blade area/ rotator cuff for a number of months which doesn’t seem to be getting better. As soon as I think it’s ok it flares up again 😩 I’ve recently had a 3 week period off any formal exercise and my back hasn’t been too bad. I did a Pilates session yesterday and my back has flared up! I can only now assume it’s a Pilates move that has aggravated it! I’m certain it’s to do with instability around my shoulder blade so I’m really hoping following your sessions will help me out 🤞🤞🤞 I’ve also just bought both of your books 🙏🏻🙏🏻
