Hello. Brand new member. Just joined today. I recently read the book, then watched some YouTube videos and now I'm really excited to be here in the app. While I'm not diagnosed with EDS yet, I was told I have "systemic hypermobility and instability" by my physical therapist after a knee injury (that occurred while standing totally still - go me). At the time it happened I had no idea it was going to lead to the journey it has and things I hadn't realised were connected suddenly appear to be. I've been reading as much as I can about EDS and I'm working my way through seeing so many different types of doctors. I feel like I am finally starting to get the answers I've been looking for my whole life. I completed physical therapy for my knee and did make some progress but overall felt it moved much too fast for my body and my prescribed home program is not at all motivating. I'm really struggling to make myself do it. Zebra Club seems like a great way to get motivated again and have fun while strengthening and stabilising my hypermobile body and hopefully I will reduce my chronic pain in the process. I'm looking forward to learning how to work with my body instead of against it.
