My pain is centralized in the neck and shoulders, including cervical instability. After three months, I’m finally understanding the correct posture for the shoulders into the back and throughout the spine. Now I’m struggling to strengthen the muscles to be able to have that posture. Every time I try neck exercises, including isometrics, it kicks off weeklong pain flareup. I am able to do the programs for hips and pelvis so I’m wondering if there are any lower back exercises that I can do. Basically, I’m wondering if I can strengthen from bottom up, instead of triggering the neck and upper shoulders. @jeanniedibon are there classes for that area directly or exercises that would be good to strengthen the shoulder girdle and mid back?
