@Jeannie Di Bon I’m after some advice please…🙏🏻 I’m in the predicament I kind of expected. I’m certain my upper back issues are stemming from my shoulder area (mainly around the shoulder blades) being weak. I mentioned before that it always feels tight and it pinches regularly making it hurt right underneath the shoulder blade and attachment onto my spine. I always lack rotation through my upper body too. I’ve started on the shoulder stability classes but already it doesn’t feel good. I don’t feel I have the right range of movement around my shoulder blade and the area you refer to where your shoulder ‘sits’ into the joint when engaging the muscle correctly just feels really uncomfortable and almost ‘stuck’ around my rib cage, underneath my armpit and through my lats. I’m not sure how to proceed. I know you said before that my muscles are tight because they are weak but if I try to stabilize them and work the muscles around the joint, my back feels even tighter and pulls even more, causing more pinching and discomfort! This is quite a common theme for me, causing more pain when trying to strengthen, so I usually just give up and carry on making do with weak muscles and hoping for the best. I did wonder about booking a 1:1 appointment with you but when trying to book you had nothing until September next year! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
