Hello, how do you deal with the unpredictability of EDS? I haven't found satisfying coping mechanisms yet. I like to be structured and plan things, I need that to feel good. I almost have a bit of autistic traits without having the diagnosis. But how can you plan if you don't even know if you'll have energy the next day or what will cause you new pain or problems? Since a relatively large number of autistic people have EDS, many should have problems with this "chaos". One strategy could be to always start from your worst possible state and do things spontaneously when you have more energy. However, friends often don't have time at such short notice and concerts also have fixed dates, etc. Not to mention bigger plans like financing a house. This challenges my calmness on and on lol..
