I started the stability classes a couple days ago and just WOW! Really makes so many things obvious that I was unaware I'm doing. Now the question... In the neck stability class during the isometric section it says you want to activate the muscles at the back of the neck and not the ones at the front but no matter what I try, the ones at the front seem to be the ones that really tighten. Is this likely to be a positioning problem or just that the muscles in the front of my neck are used to working overtime because I've had bad head/neck positioning for so long and they need practice to stop doing that?
