Hello all! I am happy to report that my MRIs showed that I DON’T have Chiari malformation or tethered cord. Yay! However, I was diagnosed with #cervicalinstability #CCI at C2-3. My doc suggested that I wear a neck brace of some sort while in the car on bumpy roads. My PT suggested that it just be the soft, gentle kind worn on an airplane, so that my neck doesn’t lose strength, as I continue to work to build strength and stability. I only plan to wear it when my neck could experience outside forces that move it too much. Any suggestions on what you have found to be helpful would be appreciated.
