I just did Support the Hip Joint class. My question is about why I am not feeling certain muscles working. When doing the clam, all the work is felt in the stationary hip/leg that's on the floor. I think that's the opposite of what I should be feeling. And the last exercise, standing and hinging the hips, my shins felt most of it. Is it being super tight, muscle compensation? I'm really careful about form and I'm moving slowly and within my small range of motion.
