Jeannie recently posted about tensegrity - as a (g)rounding principal of understanding within TZC/IMM philosophy and approach. It resonates with a powerful thoracic-stability cue - of a tensegrity ball - that my physio “installed” in me some time ago. It is one of many thoracic cues that I use and seek to hold (gently) mindfully while in movement practice (and hopefully eventually all the time without having to concentrate 😓😅). These cues are the fundamental thing helping to stabilise my CCI as well as my thoracic instability. They help to activate and strengthen my deep postural muscles. They also support everything below that needs to kind of ‘hang’ off my thorax - including my diaphragm and can really help soften my breathing practice. I imagine, or sense, that my thorax is held/supported from the inside with one of these… https://youtu.be/hOoCHQIyF0s
