Q about recovery time: I sprained/strained my back 5 days ago (felt a distinct “ping” like a guitar string snapping). Probably moved too much on day 2 trying to keep a doc appt, otherwise being diligent with rest, ice, heat, moving unaffected limbs as much as possible. BUT getting a little down as improvement is minimal and my expectations are (as usual for overachiever) probably unreasonably high. So those with back injury experience - what IS reasonable in terms of recovery time for you? How do you keep your spirits up while daily cancelling more future plans? (Note: I am Allergic to NSAIDS) :(
