Hi, I’m new! Does anyone have any recommendations for getting through an essential pilates class on the reformer? I find I have to modify almost every exercise (or at least do everything at very light weights), which I’m happy to do, but it would be nice to know how to modify the exercises before going in. Sometimes instructors aren’t sure how to help. I also have a deceiving, athletic build and am perhaps too young to be having the kind of neck and back pain I do (in other peoples eyes, anyways). I ordered the “pilates without tears” book but would love to hear from this community!
