Hello my UK zebras! Does anyone have any advice regarding how to navigate the healthcare system there? I am from singapore, but will be moving to UK for 3 years. Where I am, its extremely easy to get appointments with top specialists etc., medical tests are easy to obtain and reasonably priced even without subsidy. (Eg. An echocardiogram is easily ordered, so are tilt table tests. No struggle at all getting access to them quickly) I suspect i wouldn’t be able to go straight to the specialists i want to in UK though, and GP’s would be the more common place i’ll be at? Would you all have any advice as to how I can approach the healthcare system, and also if i should gather any documents/request for certain letters before i head over?
