On psyching yourself out: I am struggling with how to discern when/whether achiness and fatigue is “real” (ie., body signaling it needs rest or injury will result) as opposed to sympathetic overstimulation making me feel more achy/tired than I “really” am (in which case I need to focus on sympathetic mind calming, possibly with more exercise.) It’s a struggle because I know that too much rest will only decondition and make me feel worse - but too much exercise may do the same! Am I making sense? How does everyone balance this, when to rest and when to power through and how to deal with constant second guessing of your own perceptions?
