Hi Everyone! I'm new here. 😊 I was told last year, when I was in physical therapy for what felt like the hundredth time, that I'm hypermobile (something I'd never heard before, or if I had, I didn't understand what I was being told since I've been in and out of physical therapy since I was 8 or so). When I asked questions about that, I would be told "not to worry about it" and that "a lot of people have it" (including my therapist at the time) and that all I needed to do was "get stronger". All of that led me to do research and figured out that all the pain I've been feeling my whole life isn't normal. I've had migraines since I was 3 (I'm going to be 30 later this year) and have had issues with my ankles (I have a calf soleus issue, wear orthotics to help my flat feet, overpronate and have a sinus tarsi issue) since I was 6 which led to constant pain throughout my entire lower body. I have constant neck pain and TMJ as well. I don't breathe very well and carry a lot of tension and I'm extremely fatigued all the time. Eventually I decided to take matters into my own hands and I found Jeannie's youtube channel and everything started clicking and making sense. I'm so glad I found this community and I can't wait to officially get started.
