Hi everyone! I hope you are all keeping well. So, I have a question about #flatfeet ! I have watched the foundation videos and I am now happily going through the starter pack. When moving/exercising while standing up, Jeannie often talks about the feet and feeling their weight and connection to the ground. While I love this idea and it does really help a lot with my posture and unlocking my knees, a worrying thought has appeared in the horizon: I have flat feet, and when I do the "feeling the feet heavy, like roots", I can notice how they become slightly flatter. While it feels great, and soothing, and I love the gentle pressure and feedback on the sole of my feet, it worries me a bit. Am I making my feet even flatter? Am I making them even "lazier" so they will end up collapsing? I think this thought might be making me brace a bit, instead of being able to let go, so I thought I would ask if any zebras experience the same! Needless to say I have every intention of going to a podiatrist as soon as the GP starts approving my referrals, but in the meantime I'd love to know other zebras thoughts/experiences!
