I'm having a bit of a down day today. Since officially starting TZC, I've really been focusing on trying to calm my body down and I'm really starting to properly see how deconditioned my body is (I've always known it, but to actually fully feel it regularly is or to notice it is different). I've been taught my whole life to just push through and ignore the pain and discomfort, but I'm realizing that that's probably not the best way to go because then I flare. How do you retrain your mind when your body is saying something else? How do you retrain yourself to be ok with taking things slowly when you've been taught something different your whole life? On these down days, what are some things that have helped you?
