Hey zebras! This is sort of random, but I have a question for the other vegetarians in the group: Do you feel like when you don’t get enough protein, this triggers an increase in your baseline level of anxiety? This is something that I’ve gradually come to realize about myself. I’ve noticed it because being in a lot of anxiety is my natural state, but right after I have a snack with a lot of protein (usually whey protein or some type of vegetarian fake meat), my anxiety goes away for the time being—at least a few hours. I wonder if my brain is telling me that I need something!
