As newly diagnosed With hEDS, I’m still figuring out if I have additional issues such as MCAS, or POTS since I do have some various symptoms that are undiagnosed. Here is my issue: I’ve been on a beta blocker for high blood pressure for about seven years but it has never helped lower it. Now my Dr wants to switch me to an ACE inhibitor instead. I am concerned because I’m reading that ACE inhibitors are not recommended if you have hyperadreneric POTS. Is there a test I should push for to get a definitive diagnosis?
