I was super excited to see this article today about a possible treatment for hypermobility and associated connective tissue disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). The short version: Scientists have linked hypermobility and related disorders to a folate deficiency caused by a genetic variation, offering new diagnostic methods and treatment possibilities with methylated folate. I only wish they had mentioned the dosage of Folate that was used with their patients.
