After patiently and faithfully working on these exercises and learning my body anew, today I finally felt the muscles responsible for some long-term neck pain. What did I find? I knew my neck muscles were weak and I did my PT exercises forever. I knew my posture could be improved and I’ve been doing those exercises forever. What I connected today was when doing baby lifts, my shoulders had always been forward. No PT ever noticed that and that kept the needed neck muscles from engaging. I made a tiny shift, and I felt the sore muscles engage for the first time. It is a very tiny thing. But it is a very big win. I hope my pain will decrease over time now. Hope this helps somebody.
