Hello everyone. I've been thinking about the polyvagal theory and have watched a few Stephen Porges interviews. I sometimes feel myself going into the dorsal state he describes. I was curious if there are any particular movements that would help to bring you out of the dorsal state when you're feeling a bit low or as if we can't derive enjoyment from normal things which we would normally feel pleasure from. Occasionally meditation can put me into quite a dorsal state, I think. Can anyone suggest how to counteract is and achieve a more balanced state. Not in fight or flight but not numb (for lack of a better word). Also, if there are any classes which exist already. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
