Vagus nerve and anxiety attacks... I've watched the Vagus Nerve exercises video for the first time and at the beginning it says to make sure you feel safe first. Does that mean that it would not be good to do them during an anxiety attack? Do you have to start out pretty calm or do you think they'd be fine? Anyone used them for this and know the answer? ๐Ÿ˜… Any other tried and true things that help you when you're panicking? I've messed up majorly with my medical appointments and completely forgotten to schedule a GI follow up that should have been done MONTHS ago. I only remembered now because I've come across the paperwork again. I'm worried that I may not be able to get it done now, maybe it has been too long. Every time I'm thinking about it now I'm putting myself into panic mode. I can't stop crying and my tears burn my face (Is that an EDS/HSD thing? It's really annoying ๐Ÿ˜ฉ). I have to just try to chill out now because I can't do anything about it until Monday anyway. Give me all your tips for calmness.
