I wonder if anyone has experienced fluid retention or swelling due to either HEDS or Mcas? I've just come home after an overnight trip to a&e as I swelled up all over after lying down and comes on the back of two weeks of tummy cramps and hand/feet pain. Is this something to do with Mcas? Heart kidneys etc all normal..no inflammation. I was only diagnosed with Eds at Xmas and am still trying to understand it all. I've read people wear compression clothing and use salt tablets but could anyone explain to me why and what that's for? I don't know how to get rid of this fluid or what has caused it and its so uncomfortable!
