#TiltTableTest done! 👍🏻 Had no idea there were so many steps to it. First a sweat test, then two breathing tests, then the tilt at 70 degrees for 10 minutes. The Physicians’s Assistant who ran the test did a great job explaining, conversing to distract, checking in on how I was doing all the time. 👌🏻 Wasn’t quite as bad as I thought, but wiped me out just the same. I know we’re all different, but here’s what I experienced during the tilt: progressive heavy fatigue feeling, tingling in my arms, then legs, heart had a bit of a-fib, slight pain in my chest, mild nausea, increasing coat-hanger pain, mild headache… and afterwards I felt freezing cold (it was almost 60 degrees F when I left). Also, after she flattened the table again, I started to cry and explained that it was an overwhelming feeling of anxiety, even though I truly felt calm before the Tilt started bcs she had such a nice bedside manner. Such a quick succession of symptoms. Resting now and feeling very tired. I’d love to hear what you’ve experienced, if you feel like sharing.
