Basic self care question. I struggle with knowing whether I’m “just sore” or I’ve “torn a muscle” etc. I’m ok with managing pain. Just wondering how you all name your pain. What are the words you use? Like right now, I’m icing a familiar hot tearing feeling in my shoulder. It may be gone entirely tomorrow or last for 3 weeks. I’m not concerned as this is my pain cycle — just want to know how youd talk about that. Thx.
