I went to the GP this week to show him some swelling behind my knee where my dog ran into me. The swelling hasn’t disappeared totally. I thought he was just going to look at my knee. But without warning he started to bend my knee around, pulling it this way and that. I told him beforehand that I have hypermobility. I am then the one who goes home and worries about potential long term damage to the knee by going out of range. I am really ready to say to all practitioners‘Don’t touch me’ but sometimes health practitioners need to examine knees etc. How do other zebras manage this type of situation with health practitioners? Thanks.
