Hi everyone, I wanted to know if any of you have problems with insect bites? I got a bite on my thigh about three weeks ago, it didn't get infected or anything but it went reddish/purplish, almost like a bruise and now I'm left with a mark about three inches by two inches. I'm wondering if it's mast cell related or to do with our skin marking so easily perhaps? Or both? I take the highest prescription strength Fexofenadine daily and also Montelukast (Singulair) to help with allergies, and I've been using hydrocortisone bite cream which I don't react to. I've got two new bites on my shoulder now and am worried the same is going to happen - I'll be covered in weird blotches by the end of Summer at this rate! Thanks!
