Hey guys, I have a question about #kneecaps! So, in many of the classes, Jeannie advises "softening the kneecaps". This is something I'm struggling to understand. I'm trying to just relax my knees but I don't exactly know what I am doing. The thing is that my knees, like many of us, tend to roll in. I am doing a good job in gently guiding my body to a better position, but my "mental map" does not compute kneecaps π. To make it even a more exciting challenge, my knees are not "double jointed", at least visually. What I suspect is that, actually, they were indeed hypermobile but years of strain locked them in a slighlty bent position. Now they just stay, fixed and braced, like that all the time. The little I feel in my kneecaps is that, if I think upper and lower part of the knee, they are always closer to the upper part and making them "descend" feels odd, makes me feel unstable on my feet and even anxious/panicky! Had anyone experienced anything like this? If so, any thoughts/advice are more than welcome!
