I have particularly skinny legs and have found wearing the leg weights super helpful . I didn’t understand when doing the cross body exercises what Jeannie was meaning when she said feeling the connection across the torso . No muscles really activated . With the leg weights on it much easier to ‘connect’. The abdominals tighten . That’s what I think she is meaning . . I never feel my obliques fire either with side to side curl ups . Anyone have any tips or watch points there ? Physio has failed my whole life really but I’m sure some sort of biomechanics person should be able to figure this out . It just stumbled on it , it’s frustrates me that we have to find these things out ourselves .
