Hello. I hope this is okay to post. I'm not seeking medical advice so much as general guidance. How do you determine when to see a doctor, go to the hospital or when something is an emergency when you deal with bizarre health things all the time already? Back story... I have been having racing heart (again) for the last three days. It keeps waking me up many hours before my alarm. I'm running on very little sleep. I'm shaky, in pain, my dizziness is way worse and I have massive health anxiety so when things aren't "normal" I panic which makes things worse. The last time I felt exactly like this I went to immediate care and they said it is just anxiety and to go home and try to relax. π I was told they are not concerned about heart rate until it goes over 140 and sustains that. This makes me hesitant to go for the same issue again especially since I deal with social anxiety and going places like that causes me additional stress. So I guess I'm asking... How do you decide if this is just another weird thing your body does related to EDS/HSD or if it is something unrelated that needs attention? Do you have a process?
