After doing so well recently and making progress with my exercises, I've had my 1st major setback. Yesterday I had been sat down for about 2 hours, stood up, walked about 10 steps and something in my knee went pop and I ended up in A&E (ER). It was the lateral collateral ligament that just spontaneously went and now I'm in a full leg splint and have to return to the hospital again tomorrow for review. I had made such great progress and am pretty upset this has happened without any obvious cause. I don't want to lose my recent gains while I heal so wondered if anyone has any advice how to maintain the fitness in the rest of my body meantime? Or how to heal faster? @Jeannie Di Bon
