In some of the videos Jeannie instructs us to lay on our backs with knees bent, and to lift one leg from that position. When I attempt to lift my right leg, the left side of my body comes off the floor and I can't keep myself level without a whole lot of straining everywhere. On the one hand, this is frustrating. On the other, it seems like a very clear indication that this is a major source of postural instability for me and needs to be a major focus of my practice. Identifying that is a productive step, but I'm not sure how to work on it. I've been focusing on the weight on the left side of my body to help stabilize, which helps somewhat but isn't enough. So where do I begin?
